At Three Streams Church, children are always welcome in our worship to participate with their families, but childcare is offered for kids 3 and under in our equipped and staffed nursery Sunday mornings from 9:30-11:30 AM. Children will have the opportunity to play, hear bible stories, and participate in activities.
Children ages 3 and up will begin worship with their families and be dismissed to chapel where they will enjoy biblically-based lessons and activities before rejoining with their families at the Eucharist.
If you’d like to learn more about what’s available on Sunday mornings or if you have any questions about Sunday mornings and children at Three Streams, please contact our Director for Children’s ministry, Carolyn Berry at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We take our early to middle elementary age children through the Hands-On Bible Curriculum. This is a two-year curriculum focused on the teaching like Jesus taught.
Throughout the year we hold special events for our children.
Our youth ministry at Three Streams is a growing vision to nurture students in the historical faith of the Church so that they may grow up to become oaks of righteousness. As a community, we take the baptismal covenant seriously, and we seek to truly be a family on mission invested in the development of our middle-school and high-school students.
Christian Education/Sunday School: We have a rotation of adults teach and engage, as that is more conducive for building up faith in students, as studies have shown. More importantly, that is the type of community we want to be. Former topics have been Anglican Catechesis, Youth Alpha, Apologetics, and more.
Youth Acolytes: Training acolytes to serve in worship as part of the altar party is a great way to foster youth participation in worship.
Diocesan/Provincial Camps & Mission Trips: These events are great opportunities for youth to be challenged and grow in their discipleship to Jesus Christ. Upcoming gatherings such as Soul in the City in July 2019 is but one opportunity.
